Simon Martin is the penname of the Bulgarian author Svetoslav Peytchev. He was born in Rousse, Bulgaria in 1952. The author has published on Bulgarian language the follows books: “You will forget” - love lyrics “Close Your Eyes, So I Can Lie to You” - humour and satire - consists of epigrams, rhymes and miniatures “Funny Stories” - humour and satire - collections of stories “The Talking Dog” - short stories and feuilletons “The Sinner” - short novel “A Choice” - lyrics “Green Eyes” - novel “Easy Money” - novel Because of the critical nature of many of his publications Mr. Peytchev had problems with censorship and the authorities. He was imprisoned in one of the “Death Camps” of Jivkov’s regime.
